Guest spot on “Finish the Damn Book Podcast”

I had the privilege of joining Susie Schaefer of Finish the Book Publishing on an episode of her Finish the Damn Book podcast called “Why You Can’t Finish Your Book”.

Susie is very interested in intuition, and the role it plays in writing and book doula-ing. I'd never really considered my work through that lens, but it is a critical ingredient in creative collaboration, and a few interesting things came up when I explored this on the fly.

At one point I caught myself saying, "I take my clients' early drafts seriously, but not literally." Which feels... like a flattering (and true) stereotype for Aquarians.
