Payment terms
If you’re at this page, we’re in the midst of figuring out the best way for developing and delivering your message, and agreeing on a fee. Thank you for your trust, and for choosing Find the Words.
Policies
My time, energy, and attention are my most important resources, and the most valuable things I can give to you. These policies are in place to help me honor myself and you:
I use the Acuity tool (embedded in a few places on this website) to make appointment scheduling easy for you. Acuity will send you an email notification and Google calendar event when you book, but those can get caught in spam filters. You are responsible for remembering when you book the appointment.
Please let me know if you are running late. Heads up: I may not be available to meet beyond the original ending time.
If you are not present when the call begins (phone, Zoom, or in person as the case may be), I will hold our appointment for 10 minutes before moving on with my day (15 minutes for in-person).
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty up to 36 hours before it is scheduled to begin.
If you no-show or cancel within 36 hours of the appointment, I reserve the right to bill half of the fee for that appointment.
If you no-show or cancel within 36 hours of an appointment as part of a coaching package, I can reschedule once at no-cost—but will bill a rescheduling fee ($30 for a half-hour appointment, $65 for an hour) for additional no-shows and cancellations.

In most cases, I’ll send you an invoice using Stripe and you can pay via credit card. Thank you for paying on time!
Using the app, submit payment to the account @findthewordswithmj . If you like, I can send you a payment request.
