Book talk: Running Into the Petri Dish of Burnout

In their new self-help book, author Laurie McGinley instructs readers how to notice their self-sabotaging habits and embrace transformation. Fittingly, the process of writing the book was also an exercise in pattern-breaking for Laurie… and for me, the book’s ghostwriter.

In a casual 30-minute conversation guided by Alder & Co Founder / CEO Melanie Adamson, we talked about how our collaborative writing process was personally transformative for us both and how a book can contain one person’s beating heart even when it’s covered in another person’s fingerprints.
